Ein Video des NDR wurde am Montag nach der Wattolümpiade passenderweise in der Hamburger U-Bahn gezeigt. VOR der Wattolümpiade wäre uns eigentlich lieber gewesen, aber das gilt für alle Medien.

Wattolümpiade (Mudflats Olympics)
The Wattolümpiade is a decidedly curious spectacle: At Brunsbüttel in Schleswig-Holstein the talk is not just of competitions but of mud contests, a distinction to be taken literally. For the team games like handball, football and volleyball, squads are highly motivated and naturally join battle in the mud. During the fashion parade, models in evening dresses fling themselves into the sludge prior to a football match against a select mudlark (Wattikan) team. With several bands letting rip at the Wattstock Festival, everything is done to ensure a great mood despite the mud.
Participantes de las “Olimpiadas del barro” juegan al fútbol. Celebradas en Brunsbuettel, Alemania, estas “olimpiadas”, donde se practica fútbol, balonmano y vóleibol en el barro, se trata de una obra benéfica para apoyar la lucha contra el cáncer.
